About Me

As a native of Colorado, and a lifelong Pueblo resident of Pueblo County, I am strong in my Italian heritage and appreciate all the cultural diversity that Pueblo has to offer. I have raised two wonderful young men and am married to my husband, Greg. I have been in the healthcare industry for almost 25 years.

I value and respect what the Pueblo community has to offer. Having served on numerous Boards and Commissions, I have gained valuable insight into the region’s future, and the direction we must take. These experiences have also deepened my understanding of the community’s needs.

The people we have entrusted to serve us at the State Capitol are failing us in Pueblo and I can no longer sit idly by and watch this unfold for the community that I hold dear to my heart. Our city, our county, and our state deserve better than what we are receiving. I will fight at the State Capitol for a safe and prosperous Pueblo.

Safety

There are far too many laws being passed at the Colorado State Capitol that impede our ability to keep our community safe. It has astounded me that people who purport to represent the needs of Pueblo have voted for legislation that has tied the hands of law enforcement in our community. Enough is enough! We can do better, and I intend on being your voice at the Colorado State Capitol to ensure your family’s safety.

Agriculture

Agriculture has a long history and significant economic impact in Senate District 3 (Pueblo County), I'll fight to secure the water that makes it all happen for our communities. The urban areas of our great state need to know I stand firm with our farmers, ranchers and producers.

TABOR (Taxpayers Bill of Rights)

Colorado does not have a revenue problem. The State is bringing in more money than ever before, yet the people in Denver who hold the purse strings want more of your hard earned money. I believe that if you earn it, you best know how to spend it. TABOR protects us, and keeps your hard earned money in your hands. I intend to fight to protect TABOR at all times.

Why I am Running

Nearly a decade of one party rule in Denver is failing Pueblo. Colorado is less safe. We now rank 8th highest in the nation in violent crime. In 2025, Pueblo was on a list of most dangerous cities in the United States. Colorado is less affordable. We are the 3rd highest state in the nation in overall cost of living. I can no longer sit idly by and watch this unfold for the community that I hold dear to my heart. I am a fourth generation Coloradan and lifelong Pueblo resident. For the first time since their great-great-grandparents came to Colorado, my sons may not be able to afford to live in the state we call home. Our community deserves better than what we are receiving. I am running for SD3 to fight for the safe and prosperous future in Colorado.

Preserve our 2nd Amendment

As your State Senator, I want you to know that I will abide and protect those unalienable rights granted to us under the United States Constitution. That includes your right to keep and bear arms.

Affordability

As your State Senator for Senate District 3 I will fight for affordability across the board. From taxes to fees, Colorado has made it unbearable for families to survive in a way that allows for the American dream.

Advocate for Parental Rights

As a mother of two I understand the importance of making decisions as a family for our children. I can assure you that I will operate on a firm belief that YOU know what is best for your children.

Protecting Our Agricultural Heritage

Agriculture is more than an industry in Southern Colorado. It’s our heritage, our economy, and our way of life. I will continue fighting for the water resources, infrastructure, and local investments our farmers and ranchers need to grow, compete, and keep our agricultural communities strong.
